We are excited for the first day of school on August 19th! Leading up to that, we are excited to host orientation and school supply drop off on August 15:
Pre-K Orientation: 9 a.m.
Kindergarten Orientation: 11 a.m.
1st-5th Grade School Supply Drop Off: 1-2:30 p.m.

Virginia Heights Elementary School sits at the top of the hill in the heart of Grandin Village. Our student population is rich with diversity. Our strength is our students and their families, our staff, and the surrounding community.

Former RCPS Superintendent Dr. Rita Bishop passed away on May 23, 2025.
