Q. What are the procedures for car riders?

A: In the afternoon, car riders and walkers will exit from the main entrance. Car riders may be picked up on the school side of Denniston, following safety policy procedures.

An important reminder for those who will be driving students either a.m. or p.m., the designated zone on Denniston Avenue is for loading or unloading, a car cannot be left unattended at any time.  You are certainly welcome to park on the neighborhood side of the street and leave your car since that is a two hour parking area,  established to provide a place where cars can be left when parents want to come into the school  for any reason.  In keeping with safety, we ask that all children exit a  car on the school side of the street or walk to the corner to the crossing guard and cross. There will be a teacher on duty at 7:30am to receive our car rider students.  In the afternoon there are two staff members to check out our car riders in the same area.
